The Consortium for Surgical Ethics holds meetings twice a year, coinciding with the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress in the Fall and the Association for Surgical Education Meeting in the Spring. We also will have a meet-up during the Academic Surgical Congress in the Winter. Please see below for information on upcoming meetings.
The Fall Meeting and Symposium will be held on Tuesday October 29th at the Delancey Street Restaurant at 600 Embarcadero in San Francisco. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Bernard Lo, Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Bioethics at UCSF, on the topic of surgical ethics and artificial intelligence. We will also have a discussion with Dr. Shuddhadeb Ray on the ethics of academic publishing and a case presentation by Dr. Scott Grant.
